As a student, school was sometimes boring because of the homeworks, assignments, mostly maths staff taking over the P.E.T classes and all other usual stuff, but we also did have some small but a very exciting moments like making fun with teachers, thinking that the most happiest day was when our maths teacher was absent and more joyful when the substution staffs took us for P.E.T . One such kind of happiness is our school tour. The days which will always be remembered as memories throughout my eternity ,always and forever.

We were all very excited for the day of the tour, which we also called the “BIG DAY” as we were going to be with our friends after a long long time. We were all very much excited for the “GET SET GO”. We were intimated to reach the school by 5.00 PM as we were planning to leave between 6.00 to 6.30 PM. If you think that the time was set according to some horoscope, then you guessed it absolutely wrong. The timing was fixed according to the wish of the students. But I reached school by 3.00 pm which was inappropriate because even the staff who were travelling with us have not reached there, and it also surely showed my interest of travelling with my friends to our principal who was watching me. I was eagerly waiting for all of my pals to come. More than eagerness I was too much bored without anyone around. Finally after a long time everyone started arriving and we also started making our main plans like which seat should we pick, what snack should we eat first and all which was considered most important during those days. Everyone including the staffs arrived and we all were ready for our start off. Our teachers were completing all the formalities which should be done and we student were executing our master plans. Finally the most awaited moment had come, yes with a overwellmed joy and a sharp hip hip hurray! we started off on the path of creating memory and enjoyment.

We started off to Coimbatore railway station. We were shouting and having a lot of fun on our way. We reached the railway station early so we were all having a chit chat about how the night was going to be spent. The train arrived, and we were running to our compartment and finding our seats. The train started and we were all excitingly planning not to sleep over. We were playing some song over song games and then came our dinner. After having dinner we were executing our plan. Everyone were sleeping but we were having our chitchat. We were watching a lot of beautiful scenes and also some factories and more. Whenever we watched something we were discussing a lot about it educationally and dramatically. After a long and slow night on the east rose the shining sun and by the time we also reached our destination. The destination was non-other than the “Cape Comorin”, yes it was the lands end “KANYAKUMARI”.

When we reached Kanyakumari railway station, a bus was arranged for us to take us to the hotel which our teachers booked for us to stay. I was very much confident that the hotel would be amazing because the hotel had my name. It was a 2 amd half an hour travel fromthe station to the hotel. So far not getting bored during the travel time, the driver uncle played a latest movie for us. By the time the movie was over we reached our hotel. We were all given time only for freshening up , not for resting, but we didn’t get tired tough we didn’t sleep, we were enjoying the moments. We fastly entered the room which was allotted for us and got freshed up very soon and went for the 1st breakfast of our tour. We were planning to have chilly parotta as it was famous there. After our breakfast we started off to the famous “Thiruvalluvar Statue” and “Vivekananda Statue” with our tourist guide. We first visited the “Vivekananda statue/temple”. We had our own time to spend, to look at the views, and to take some pictures around and then we went to the “Thiruvalluvar” statue, but due to some reconstruction work we were allowed only for a few minutes. But when all sightseeing was completed it was evening and we went to our respective rooms to take some rest. We were having a good sleep, and we all met during dinner. We had very delicious food which was making us want to have more and more. The day was finally done. Next day we all woke up at 5.30 A.M. and ran to the top to see the morning sunrise which was very famous over there. When everyone were excitedly watching the sunrise there were a few of my friend shouting my name and came smashing to me and shouted “Happy Birthday”, and bought a surprise cake for me to cut during the sunrise. Yes it was very much suprising to me. I loved that moment like the beautiful sunrise, a surprise cake, all of my friends and teachers and it was a very special moment and I definitely missed a camera to capture the unexpected moment. Then we all started off to the beach. It was also a long travel but this time for entertainment we didn’t watch any movie, we just played all the hip hop songs available and started dancing. My friends and I were dancing so funny that our teachers started taking videos of our dance. Then we reached the beach, it was very hot and the water was soo cold so we played very happily for a long time. Then we started from there in the afternoon after having delicious sea food. We then moved to a zoo. We all were separated into groups and we were roaming here and there and suddenly a monkey started chasing us as we were having some food in our hand, we started running without even looking back. We visited all the places and our teachers started calling all of us as it was too late. We all went to a place called the “shopping street”, actually we didn’t know the name of the place so we kept our own name for it. We were all purchasing things for us and our beloved family. Our teachers started calling all of us to assemble and vacate the rooms. Yes, it was our return day. We all vacated our rooms and also had our last delicious tour food and started off to the railway station. But, we missed our train. It was a happy and a sad moment as they told the next train was only the next day. But our teachers somehow found another train. I didn’t want this tour to end. I wished it to happen but it didn’t and we had to face the reality too. We started off from there and reached Coimbatore early morning and we all were dropped off in our respective places. It was only a 3 day trip but it was most memorable. We all did enjoy each and every moment of the tour. My birthday was very special and awesome one. Hence, this is the most memorable trip I’ve ever had.
